Born in Accra,
Made for the world
In 2022, our founder Kwame Asante began designing pieces from a studio in Accra, Ghana. Frustrated with the lack of quality, affordable clothing that celebrated African creative identity, he started making what he wanted to wear.
The first 4 pieces sold out in 72 hours. The community response made one thing clear: this wasn't just a brand—it was a movement.
Today, BIG GOD ships to 40+ countries, works with 6 ethical factories across Africa and Europe, and remains committed to our original vision: clothing that helps you own who you are.
